Montauk


Piano-driven melodic pop, “salon-luxury pop”, nu-disco.. kärt barn har många namn, but I would explain this Swedish duo Montauk as being a house music act with non-software sounding instruments. They sound like a slowed down Streets of Rage soundtrack. It’s smooth, chill, lounge-y and fresh.. I said that word again, didn’t I? Fresh.

I’m awaiting remixes for this release by Justin Faust, Visitor and Tronik Youth, it will come out on Brilliantine Records.  So keep your eyes on the this blog, they might show up any day now.
