Polygon Palace
My heart warms when I get something this good in my inbox. The Melbourne-based duo Polygon Palace makes this warm and fussy pop-electro with a touch of that party mentality which we’ve come to love.
The duo have just released their debut single called Tokyo Getaway which features remix by Cassian and Cryptonites, and the Cassian one is not that far from the original but pumps the beat up a ‘lil with handclaps and some funky basslines, he took the better parts and funk’d it up. Which in turn is a good call, ’cause the original is special all on its own.
Their Myspace genre description reads Cubist/Post-pop/Combat disco and I couldn’t explain it better even if I tried to. The swaying bass, the big synths with the “Swedish” sounding pop-vocals just sums up a sexy combination. Love it.

this isn’t a cassian remix. this was done more than a year ago when he was producing under the name ‘csk ok’.
