The Subs

Hey gang, hope you had a brilliant x-mas and enjoyed yourself. Myself had a really cosy time, mostly hanging out with my two chihuahuas and sauna-bathing and all that comes with that.

And I did a half-spontaneous dj-set at a small “private” club, which was a real success with a 80 person limit and over 250 people attended during the night. But the funniest of all I’d say was the requests I got from people, as “play some Indie music, can’t you see what kind of crowd this is.. Play Disco 2000 with Pulp” and my personal favourite “Play The Baseballs, you have it right?”, and then the more inventive that caught my attention, which went like this “Can you please play something we regular mortals know what it is”.. And the more straightforward one “PLAY SOME FUCKING HIP-HOP”.

So, hope you had as many memorable things as me. I will take these comments to the grave with me.

So, on to the tracks. The Subs have been on the blog a couple of times and I stuck to their machine-like and scattered techno, so here we have two remixes by this Belgian act of Boys Noize and the Swedish Maskinen feat. Marine Gasolina (!?). Enjoy.
