Planets Planets are a band from New York embodying how live Disco-House should sound like. First they come off as a bit of Indie-Disco/Experimental band, with that feel of real instruments and the spontaneity that comes with that. After the sexy-talk warm-up in the beginning, the shit hits the fan and the bass keeps pumping the beat and the higher pitching synths just creates a wonderful mixture of sounds that goes together with the cool vocals of Kenyon Phillips.
The music can at times be perceived as not too serious, maybe a little funny. But then again, is that a bad thing? Huh?
