Shaatz, from the inner-space of the electro-revolution called Paris France, shows us again where the innovative music come from. As we watch the countless of nu-disco/dream-wave acts pop up on Myspace, it sort of gives me a cosy feeling of a kid in a candystore, but yet they rarely bring anything new to the already filled palette.
Shaatz brings the essential, the harmonic melodies, the spacey and sinister casio/microKorg sounds that makes the foundation of this beautiful dream-pop electro.
The one thing that really sets the marker straight with this duo is the shoe-gaze like vocals. And don’t rush this music, let it build up before you ignore it.
