KITE
Nicklas Stenemo and Christian Berg is KITE, for those (Mostly Swedes) who recognize these names, I can tell you they were part of several nationally acclaimed constellations as The Mo, Melody Club, Venus Outback, Strip Music, Yvonne and April Tears.. Whoa, quite a handful there. But these acts, I would say, have contributed immensely to the scene and sound we see in Sweden today. They did the new-wave, synth and 80′s sound in the early 2000′s.. So show some fucking respect.
I couldn’t help being amazed by the original vocals in KITE, he sounds so odd and passionate, I love that. The world they paint up is pop, it’s Yazoo, it’s festivals and honest beautiful melodies.
Their first 12″ was released last year, and on the 16th of October it’s time for the next one.

your introduction for this band is so spot on. the oddness in the voice is unforgettable. plus their execution of the nostalgic melody is very endearing.
