Gejius
Geijus, my old dandy lion, have recently decided to move to Japan to get escape his native land of America to take up teaching piano. And I understand and support that choice, sounds like something a true artist would do. So, last time we heard from Gejius was with his remix of Mariah Carey over here. And I really liked that track, even though I hate Mariah Carey.. Letting her titties hang out like it ain’t no thang..
So, Gejius, the Oregonian that moved to Japan is back with some tracks and I was really amazed by Take this, lie down, and become anew. It’s very experimental and strange, yet has that suddle feel of new-wavish disco house and indie-pop. It’s a very beautiful combination. And I love the bassline thickening up in the background and the vocals, it’s like Thom Yorke had something to do with this production.
