Zoot Woman + Dyebox
Ah man, we had “the night of the arts” or whatever it’s called here in Helsinki, I can imagine every European city having something like this every year. Or those who claimed to be artsy anyway.
So we went to Manala with my girlfriend and we went to watch Taikapeili, which was in the 90′s a bad copy of Ace of Base. And still is. But we ended up in the basement of the restaurant/club and watched some stand-up comedy, and this one comedian was telling a joke which went a bit like this: Nobody refers to your marriage as they do when your getting a tattoo, like when you get a tattoo people say things like “it’s gonna be permanent, you’ll have to live with it all your life”, “the colors will fade and be a all saggy and shit” and “are you sure you want to have THAT tattoo, you might regret it and think it’s ugly after a few years”..
And then a older lady stands up in the crowd and says: Nobody says that about men, they grow old and saggy too, why can’t you insert a woman’s point of view aswell? I think you need to say that too!
The comedian is baffled by the woman’s comment, and starts mumbling and don’t know what to say.
And I feel urged to say something here.. So I say “He IS a man isn’t he?”.. And the crowd laughed. w00t.
DYEBOX, is what we came here today to talk about really and we should’nt stray off to personal things. This IS a mp3-blog, right? Dyebox is a German electro-duo founded in the year of our evolution 2008, after playing rock for ages in the 90′s the two discovered their passion, hidden within, for electronic music. After producing and DJ:ing they decided to put the ensamble of electronic gadgets onto the stage and a year later they dropped a EP for the label BOXON.
Dyebox produced a remix for Zoot Woman, which happened to be one of my favourite act a few years back, and it’s consists of big distorted basses, pumping beats and some warm chords. It’s really to DYE for.. hehe.
